Irregular Days

Entry 4:

It has been a good while since I’ve had the time to write in here. One tablet is ours and the Paragnostic Assembly’s resources are at my disposal. Progress is finally being made. The Assembly’s test was quite easy for one such as I. The others took it as well, but none of them made it. Honestly I thought Rena would pass, that girl is brighter than she lets on. Perhaps she didn’t put much effort in, or perhaps she already caused too much trouble for their liking and they simply told her she had failed. It matters not, I suppose. I’ll find what we need, if it exists here.

Rena and Irena may be getting too risky to keep around. Neither of them think before they act and bring upon needless trouble over petty squabbles. We are wanted now and can not afford to draw attention to ourselves for idiotic reasons. Our actions in Lunasa were perhaps not the wisest, but they served a purpose, and I think perhaps in a way they were just. If the evil organization you hide in your basement tries to assassinate me and then you lie about it, I think I’m perfectly within my rights to charge to what I want and kill any who get in the way. They brought it upon themselves. But to try burn down a library simply because you failed a test? A library that we currently have great use of. A library that I was currently in. I guess I do not appreciate those that are so chaotic in nature. Those who blindly follow the law are no better, but at least they are easy to understand, and easy to work with. Rena and Irena are the first real friends I’ve ever had and I wish to continue giving them the benefit of the doubt. I just don’t know how long that can continue. Perhaps I should advise Godric to keep near them.

I have spent many days on the road now and it is nice to be in a library again. I have much work to do, and I fear the others may be limiting the time I have to do it. I do hope they are staying out of trouble…
